Description:

The product is a white crystalline or powder. It is flavorless, poisonous and with microaidic; the hexagonal

crystal system sp. gr.: 3.08 and system sp. gr. 2.665 (at 17 °C); deliquesce in moist air and slightly soluble in

water, also soluble in hydrochloric acid; the solubility has somewhat raise with an increase in temperature.

It's decomposed into KF and SiF4 at glow, and decomposed into KF, HF and H2SiO3 in hot water.

Applications:

Used in wood anticorrosive, ceramic and manufacturing of all kinds of optical glass, smelting of Aluminum

and magnesium, also can be used as the raw material of synthetic mica and anti-corrosion materials.
